Here is a step by step instruction guide to treat and prevent acne , and control the oil:

1. Wash your face twice daily, morning and night, with an oil-free cleanser with 2% salicyclic acid acne medication. Try Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash ($8). This beta-hydroxy acid infused cleanser is gentle and mild enough for sensitive skin, yet is effective in deep cleaning the largest of pores.

2. After patting your face dry, apply an astrigent. This will remove any excess residue and oil,and tighten your pores for a refreshed appearance. Try Noxema Triple Clean Astrigent ($6)

3. Finish off with an oilfree moisturizer. Try Clean and Clear Shine Control Moisturizer ($6). This will keep your face mattified yet hydrated to keep your sebacous glands (oil-producing glands) in check.

4. If you have any pimples, dab on a benzoyl peroxide cream to the area. Try Clean and Clear Persa Gel ($5) This should decrease the appearance of your pimples and overtime, prevfent them from forming.

***About 2-3 times a week, give yourself an exfoliating facial to remove all the surface dead skin cells. Doing this will reveal the new healthier skin growing underneath. You can try Neutrogena OilFree AcneScrub ($8)***

***As well, to keep your face oil-free longer, give yourself a clay mask treatment twice a week. The clay's oil-zapping and purifying properties help to rid your pores of excess sebum and help you feel and look fresh. A good one is Olay Clay Mask ($8).

***When wearing foundation and powders, make sure you look for ones that are oil-free and noncomedogenic (won't clog pores)**

***If you face does end up getting oily throughout the day, just be sure to carry aroudn these small, conveniently packed blotting papers (Biore Shine Control Papers ($10).I am having pimples and blackheads on my face so can u suggest me a facial which suits for oily skin.?
Use a mild cleanser like Cetaphil for Oily Skin. Ask your dermatologist about a product called Zania. I got it for free because of the rebates my derm gave me! It works AMAZING trust me... and its not like other acne stuff. It doesn't make your skin dry at all and does not make it peel. It actually makes your skin glow!
Proactiv. I have been using it for about 2 years now and I never have to worry about breakouts anymore. My skin is not oily anymore either. I really love it!

You can buy the 3- piece kit on their website for only $19.95 (http://www.proactiv.com/order/order_now.鈥?/a> ), but if you want it even cheaper you should buy it for eBay. That's what I do. Just make sure that you get one that is brand new and sealed. Good luck!
